OBJECTIVE
The objective of this project was to redesign the branding and corporate identity of Del Mar Restaurant to better reflect its history, cuisine, ambiance, and target clientele. The goal was to create a modern yet timeless aesthetic that enhances brand recognition, communicates the restaurant’s values, and offers a cohesive visual experience.

PROCESS
The redesign of Del Mar Restaurant began with in-depth research into contemporary branding trends and visual identities within the dining space. Drawing inspiration from 1950’s elements and retro colours and art style, I developed a refined visual direction that aligned with the restaurant’s atmosphere and target audience. All original artwork, including the logo, icons, and supporting graphics, was created using Adobe Illustrator to ensure precision and consistency. Once the visual identity was finalized, I used Adobe InDesign to carefully lay out the style guide, presenting the brand’s color palette, typography, imagery, and usage guidelines in a clear and organized format. The final product is a cohesive and modern brand system that captures the essence of Del Mar and can be applied seamlessly across various mediums.
